In addition to the footpaths that run along highways, the link below takes you to a register of Northamptonshire footpaths including those in and around Warkton Village.

https://footpathmap.co.uk/map/?zoom=15.3&lng=-0.68818&lat=52.41124

You will notice the old footpath that is between Chestnut Cottage and number 28; historically the plot now occupied by York House was the location for the village allotments. With the building of York House and selling off of that plot this footpath now has a dead end.

Parish Path Wardens

Warkton Parish Council’s appointee as Parish Path Warden (PPW) is Vic Austen. Parish Path Wardens are not employees of the Council; they are volunteers.

The role of a PPW is to act as a point of contact for rights of way issues between Warkton Parish Council and the rights of way service providers. Rights of Way are public footpaths, bridleways, byways, permissive paths, and other such forms of access.

Issues with any rights of way can be reported by everyone on via https://www.northnorthants.gov.uk/rights-way-and-searches/report-public-right-way-issue

Should you have any questions regarding the footpaths in Warkton, please contact your Parish Council by emailing: clerk@warktonparishcouncil.gov.uk
